I want to show why racism and discrimination are wrong and show that's it's a cycle that gets repeated due to fear. Time for it to end.
I’m tired of the racism on the street.
So people take the time to twitter and tweet.
First with the Indians, we wanted their land.
We rounded them up from Jackson’s demand.
It’s not like we sent the tribes invitations,
When we forced them to the reservations.
Unhappy, they all at first did resist.
So we battled them to show we would insist.
We coincide now. They were given their space
And citizenship to all of their race.
As for the Negro, we dragged them in chains.
Stole them from their homeland and made them our gains.
They were then our slaves who’d better not quip;
Or they’d feel on their backs the end of a whip.
To gain their freedom, it took The Civil War.
They got to be free but deserved much more.
What happened next is called segregation.
It was what then plagued our great nation.
Martin Luther King fought for their civil right.
He died with others to correct their plight.
We stopped judging by the color of the skin.
And now see people for what is within.
We have to remember those from Germany
Are not now automatically a Nazi.
What the Nazi did to the Jews was tragic;
To make all Germans pay has no logic.
It’s our history. No one will forget.
Condemning the innocent, we cannot let.
September 11 was a horrid day.
The Taliban’s attack hit in the worst way.
But we have to remember who caused the loss,
Osama Bin Laden, the Taliban’s boss.
